Overview

A beautiful five bedroom family residence, set within 15 acres in the heart of the New Forest, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-out Housekeeper to become a key part of the private household team.

Working closely with the House Manager, this full-time position requires a professional, discreet, and detail-oriented individual who will ensure the highest standards.

With a Private Chef already in place, the Housekeeper’s focus will be solely on the organisation, upkeep and presentation of the home, taking pride in creating an immaculate environment. The wider team includes a House Manager, Private PAs, a Private Chef and Nannies.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Live-out Housekeeper in the New Forest, Hampshire include:

  • Daily housekeeping and upkeep of the property to an exceptional standard
  • Knowledge of use of appropriate cleaning products on a range of surfaces, including antiques and fine furnishings
  • Managing household supplies and stock levels
  • Preparing guest rooms for visiting family and friends
  • Running errands and supporting the smooth operation of the household
  • Occasional assistance with pets (dogs and horses) when needed
  • Ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Regular reporting into the House Manager

Candidates must be/have:

  • Strong housekeeping experience within an UHNW household
  • Within a commutable distance of the house (40 mins max)
  • Professional, reliable and detail focussed approach
  • Knowledge of specialist cleaning products and techniques an advantage
  • Pet-friendly and happy to assist with animals
  • Full UK driving licence – essential
  • Flexibility to work weekends when the Principals are in residence (time off in lieu)
  • No cooking required – the household employs a Private Chef

Accommodation
As this is a live-out position, no accommodation is provided.

Hours
Full-time, five days per week. Flexibility required – if the Principals are in residence over weekends, time off will be given in lieu (e.g. Monday and Tuesday).
