Sole Engineer – 45m Private M/Y

Döhle Yacht Crew are seeking a hands-on and experienced Sole Engineer to join a 45m private motor yacht, currently based in the Mediterranean and preparing for an extensive shipyard period.

This is a permanent position, and we are ideally looking for someone who can join the vessel in the shipyard and carry it through the upcoming works. Most importantly, the successful candidate will take the yacht into the 2026 season having spent the winter learning  the vessel inside and out.

You will be well supported by the current temp engineer and a team of technicians who know the boat well.

The yacht is privately owned and run to a high standard. The client is looking for a serious, committed individual with solid experience as a Chief Engineer and a strong background on yachts of a similar size. There is an engine control room onboard. Accommodation is a shared cabin during the summer, with a private cabin in the winter.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: €8000/month (negotiable for the right candidate)

Leave: 42 days annually
