Live-In Housekeeper – London

Silver Swan is currently seeking an experienced and highly professional Live-in Housekeeper for a prestigious 17,000 sq. ft. residence in Mayfair. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep throughout the property. This role requires someone proactive, detail-oriented, and accustomed to maintaining luxury homes with fine finishes, furnishings, and antiques.

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping and care of a 17,000 sq. ft. Mayfair residence (6-7 bedrooms).
• Specialist cleaning of luxury materials including carpets, marble, fine furniture, and delicate finishes.
• Polishing and maintaining silver, fine glassware, and cutlery, ensuring items are always immaculate.
• Maintain the overall presentation and readiness of the property at all times.
• Light laundry and wardrobe management as required.
• Work closely with other household staff (if applicable) and external contractors.
• Ensure discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
• Take initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Ideal Candidate

• Right to live and work in the UK is essential.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working in a similar role within UHNW households or luxury estates.
• Strong knowledge of specialist cleaning methods for high-end materials and finishes.
• Female candidate (requirement specified by the household).
• Highly reliable, committed, and detail-focused.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with other staff.
• Must demonstrate discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times.
• Seeking a long-term position with stability.

Package:

• Salary: £50,000+ gross annually DOE.
• Private live-in accommodation provided
• Permanent, live-in position.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or 9 am – 5 pm
• Start date: ASAP
