Weekend Housekeeper – London

Silver Swan is working exclusively with a UHNW family based in central London, who are seeking a professional and reliable Weekend Housekeeper to join their fully staffed household.
This is a weekend position, working Saturdays and Sundays, 8am–5pm. The successful candidate must already have the right to live and work in the UK.

When the family are away, the Housekeeper will not be required to work weekends but can instead complete the two shifts during the week. This is therefore a highly flexible role and would suit someone experienced who is looking for part-time work.

The family expect high standards, total professionalism, and discretion from their household team.

The role is to start as soon as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and tidy all areas of the residence to a consistently high standard
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces and furniture
• Changing bed linens and ensuring bedrooms are fresh and presentable
• Washing, ironing, and folding laundry, including delicate fabrics
• Organising wardrobes and cupboards as needed
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and kitchens
• Caring for fine furnishings, artwork, and delicate surfaces appropriately
• Monitoring and reporting any maintenance or repair needs
• Assisting with occasional errands when required
• Ensuring discretion and complete respect for the family’s privacy

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Female (as requested by the family)
• Previous housekeeping experience in private households or luxury hospitality
• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
• Knowledge of correct care for fine furnishings, artwork and delicate fabrics
• Ability to handle laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Already based in London with the right to live and work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not provided)
• Flexible and able to adapt to the family’s schedule

PACKAGE

• Salary: £30 per hour
• Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 8am–5pm (flexible weekdays when family are away)
• Start: ASAP
