About this role

Temporary Captain position aboard Private 20m+  M/Y

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Captain to join for an end of Summer, Private cruising program.

Start Date:   September 2025 – until approx. mid October

Itinerary:     South of France

Package:     Competitive Salary paid in Euros

Preference will be given to Candidates who are based in the South of France

There could also be an opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Experience and Attributes Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Captain on a yacht of a similar size
  • Excellent local navigational knowledge of the Western Med
  • Proficient organisational skills, including chart plotting and corrections
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to maintain accounts, budgets and operations
  • Professional appearance at all times

Qualifications Required:

  • Master 200gt – Min
  • STCW BST (fully up-dated)
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months’ validity)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
