About this role

Chief Officer Opportunity aboard Private 50m+  S/Y

Start Date:         August 2025

Location:            Western Med

Package:             Competitive salary paid in Euros, 4 weeks’ leave

Experience and attributes required:

  • Min of 1 year experience in an Officer role on a similar sized yacht
  • Excellent Bridge Management, passage planning & Deck Management
  • Sailing background would be highly desired
  • Team Player with excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate and the desire to teach and lead by example in painting, varnishing product knowledge
  • Great attention to detail
  • Possessing a positive attitude with exceptional personal presentation
  • Must be fluent in Both French and English

Qualifications required:

  • Min OOW / Master 500
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate ENG1 (valid minimum 6 months)
  • STCW (Fully updated) with PDSD
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
