Nanny – New York

A warm and loving family is looking for a full-time Wednesday – Sunday nanny.  Contributing to the care and well-being of their three children. A 3-year-old girl, 7 and 9-year-old boys. The 9-year-old is part of our family from the father's previous relationship every other week. Ability to travel domestically and internationally for two weeks at a time.

You must already be living in New York and be a US passport holder.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and companionship to the children.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment in the children's spaces.
• Light housekeeping duties related to the children: laundry, ironing, organizing closets, and maintaining tidy rooms.
• Heavy travel rotated with other nanny when children are on school breaks
• Heavier housekeeping while traveling

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a career nanny
• Time management to get children to after school activities on time.
• Ability to connect with children and become their trusted friend.
• Understanding of child development stages
• Flexibility to accommodate the family's travel schedule.
• Willingness to work on holidays (rotational basis)
• Utmost professional at all times.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of of experience as a career Nanny
• Excellent work history and references
• Nonsmoker
• Confident swimmer and cyclist
• Family has a small dog must be comfortable with dogs
• Must have travel experience
• Must be passport-ready (US passport)
• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• French-speaking is highly desirable

Package:

• Complete benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and 401k match.
• Monthly MetroCard
• $150 bonus for overnights and travel
• Salary:    $45 per hour weekdays, $55 per hour weekend (overtime pay), additional overtime paid, $150 for overnight stay and travel. (You will be guaranteed 40 hours.)

Working Schedule:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Will be asked to stay overnight
