About this role

Temporary Chief Officer – Charter 40m M/Y 

We are seeking a Temporary Chief Officer to join a busy 40m charter motor yacht during an active Mediterranean season. The yacht will be in Antibes around the 20th of August. The role will cover the current Chief Officer’s medical leave and may last from 1 week up to the end of September.

Start date: Around 20th August- September 
Itinerary: Western Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, daily rate 

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief Officer on 40m+ M/Y
• Proven charter experience with strong guest service awareness
• Excellent navigational and watchkeeping skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

Qualifications required:
• OOW 
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
