Overview

Our client seeks a professional and experienced Travelling Butler to support an American and Taiwanese UHNW couple based in Taipei, Taiwan. This is a full-time, live-out position for an experienced Butler with an extensive background in luxury hospitality and private service, and the flexibility to travel internationally for short periods throughout the year.

The Principal travels for short trips every three months, typically totalling one to two months annually. Temporary accommodation will be provided to support relocation to Taipei, and accommodation will be provided during travel.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Travelling Butler for UHNWI in Taipei, Taiwan include:

• Delivering traditional and contemporary butler services to an impeccably high standard
• Assisting the Principal with daily routines, wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and personal support
• Coordinating travel logistics and ensuring smooth transitions across destinations
• Liaising with other private household internationally
• Preparing and maintaining residences or hotel suites to the Principal’s preferences
• Providing discreet and attentive service in both formal and informal settings
• Managing ad hoc errands, personal requests and anticipating the Principal’s needs

Candidates must have/be:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Butler private households and luxury hospitality
• A fluent English speaker (knowledge of Mandarin Chinese would be desirable)
• Extensive experience working with UHNW individuals and international travel
• Exceptional attention to detail, high personal standards, and a proactive mindset
• Polished, confident and able to maintain discretion at all times
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic, adaptability and calm under pressure

Taipei, Taiwan.

Please note, this is a live-out position. Temporary accommodation will be provided on relocation but after then the Butler must find their own accommodation. Accommodation will be provided during travel.

Hours
Full-time, with flexibility required during travel.

Salary
£5,000 per month.
