Rotational 2nd Officer 60m+

2ND OFFICER – 60M+ EXPLORATION YACHT We are seeking a Second Officer to join a 60m+ world-cruising private yacht. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced officer with strong bridge and deck capabilities, looking to be part of an adventurous, dive orientated program. The position starts in early October 2025, with the vessel joining in the Azores and heading to the Caribbean/Bahamas for Christmas. The role will be 40:60 deck/bridge when in port, and 80:20 deck/bridge during guest trips.  This role is ideal for a proactive Second Officer looking to be part of an excellent program good management and fantastic owners. Career development and support toward future certification will be provided at the Captains discretion after a time served onboard. Candidate Requirements: - OOW minimum (Chief Mate 3000 preferred). - Transas type-specific ECDIS certificate. -  Valid B1/B2 visa. -  Experience with ISM and Safety Management Systems - Confident in leadership, communication, and decision making - you will be expected to run a deck team of 3 Deckhands and a Bosun - Strong technical understanding of navigational procedures and safety protocols. - Previous experience on support or exploration-style vessels preferred. - Excellent tender driving skills required. - HLO or Heli Ops training beneficial (training provided in 2026 if not yet certified). - Waterman qualities (freediving, spearfishing, diving, or surfing) highly regarded. Package: - Rotation: 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off - Salary: DOE (paid in USD) - Discretionary bonus Start date: Early October
