Silver Swan is currently seeking a polished, professional Butler/Service Staff to deliver exceptional private hospitality service during an exclusive chalet holiday stay from the 10th of December 2025 until the 10th of January 2026.  You will ensure smooth daily operations, elegant service, and uphold privacy and protocol for the principal and their guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full daily service: formal/informal table setting, food and beverage service, clearing, and dining area upkeep.
  • Greet and assist guests with arrivals, departures, and their stay.
  • Maintain high standards in the main living and guest areas.
  • Assist with wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and occasional support to housekeeping when appropriate.
  • Coordinate closely with the Chef and live-in Housekeeper to ensure a seamless environment.
  • Follow strict etiquette and maintain the highest level of discretion and service integrity.

Ideal Candidate:

  • EU/Swiss work eligibility or appropriate visas in place.
  • Background in private service roles within households, luxury chalets, or yachts.
  • Strong understanding of luxury service, formal etiquette, and seasonal protocols.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages welcome.
  • Professional presentation; ability to wear uniform and white gloves during service.
  • Energetic, flexible, and highly discreet.
  • Prior experience in holiday or festive period service settings preferred.

Package:

  • Full accommodation and all meals provided throughout the engagement.
  • Freelance invoicing basis – no deductions; candidates receive their full agreed amount.
  • Guaranteed 32 days of income, ensuring financial certainty for the full term.
  • Salary: €5,000 – €6,500 Net for the Booking 
  • Dates of Engagement: 10 December 2025 – 10 January 2026
  • Location: Davos, Switzerland 

 

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
