Live-In Domestic Couple – Private Bahamas Residence

Not a formal household or seasonal butler role – only experienced domestic couples will be considered.

An UHNW family is seeking a long-term, live-in domestic couple to manage the full-time care, maintenance, and hospitality operations of their private residence in the Bahamas. This is not a formal or seasonal position — the principals are not looking for career butlers or temporary seasonal staff. They want a grounded, professional couple with a strong domestic background who can provide resort-level service in an informal, private setting.

What We’re Looking For

Private Chef & Hospitality Lead

One half of the couple must be a confident, accomplished chef capable of delivering refined, health-conscious meals with restaurant-level presentation. This is not casual or family-style cooking — culinary ability is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing high-end meals for daily dining and entertaining
• Full kitchen management, hygiene, inventory, and sourcing
• Adapting meals for dietary preferences
• Guest service, coordination, and hosting when family is in residence
• Overseeing general household presentation
• Liaising with the off-site estate manager and vendors

Property & Systems Manager

The other half of the couple must be a hands-on property manager, confident handling maintenance and systems independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all property systems: HVAC, electrical, generators, plumbing, pool, spa, and gym
• Managing vendor scheduling, routine maintenance, and urgent repairs
• Handling basic handyman tasks and external upkeep
• Supporting outdoor entertaining and light gardening
• Pet care and beach setup as needed
• Maintaining vehicles and utility equipment

Ideal Couple

• Previous experience working together as a domestic couple in a private estate, luxury residence, or yacht
• Proactive, fit, and confident managing property needs in a remote tropical setting
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and as a team
• Pet-friendly
• One or both should hold or be willing to obtain First Aid certification

Compensation & Package

• Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 USD, depending on experience
• Private, on-site accommodation provided
• Health insurance stipend
• All relocation costs covered (flights + work visas)
