Captain 29m Catamaran

CAPTAIN – 29M CATAMARAN (242GT) We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Captain for a newly delivered 29m, 242GT catamaran currently based in Fano, Italy. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of a technically advanced vessel with a long-term home base in Dubai. The role is ideal for an experienced seafarer with a strong background on smaller yachts, capable of managing all aspects of yacht operations independently. Key Responsibilities: - Full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. - Hands-on involvement in all onboard operations — this is not a "commander-only" role. - Manage a small team of up to 4 crew and support day-to-day activities on board. - Navigate the yacht during the initial Med season (Croatia or Montenegro). - Prepare the vessel for shipping to Dubai in September and oversee handover procedures. Candidate Requirements: - Minimum Master 500GT qualification. - Strong preference for candidates with experience on 25–40m yachts. - Must be hands-on, self-sufficient, and comfortable running a yacht with a small crew. - Solid engineering knowledge or background preferred.  - Problem-solver with the ability to act quickly and work under pressure. - Ideally already based in Dubai or open to relocating there full-time. - Open to Captain–Stewardess couples (accommodation available  to share a cabin). Salary: DOE Leave: 60 days/year Start Date: ASAP ideally (sea trials are next week)
