This STCW refresher course is required every five years to maintain a valid Fast Rescue Boat certificate (STCW A-VI/2-2). It is mandatory for crew involved in operating fast rescue craft, ensuring continued readiness for rapid-response and man-overboard recovery operations.

Course Content:

High-Speed Rescue Operations (Refresher)
Refresh and practise the handling, launching, and recovery of Fast Rescue Boats (FRCs) in challenging sea conditions and emergency scenarios.

Training takes place at our MCA-approved training facility in Phuket.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years

Valid Fast Rescue Boat certificate (A-VI/2-2) issued by an IMO White List country

If certificate is expired:
   – Must provide 6 months of sea service in the last 5 years or
   – Retake the full Fast Rescue Boat course
