This course will teach students how to effectively take care of a vessel bypracticing key elements of any vessel’s maintenance plan, whichincludes how to wash down the vessel, teak maintenance, as well asassess any damage of the vessel, correct product knowledge andapplication to repair the damage.

Another part of the maintenance section focuses on woodwork andvarnishing skills. Students will practice actual deck duties that are vitalon vessels, such as navigational watch, guest on board protocols, linehandling and anchoring duties to name a few.
