Palma Sea School's three-day International Certificate of Competence (CoC) practical course covers all the basics of seamanship, safety, manoeuvring, rules of the road and navigation, including plotting a course.

This course is only available to UK residents or British passport holders (those living abroad however must be able to supply British passport number on the application form).

The course covers a mix of both theory work and practical; Regulations (including coastal waters regulations), safety, pilotage, navigation inc chart plotting and instruments required, some night hours are also required.
