Mate/Tender Captain – Keen Fisherman
Start date January 2025, final interview to happen in person, in December. Male due to cabins Salary DOE, likely between $6-6,750 Leave – 38 days plus 1 return flight Usual medical insurances etc with CIGNA B1/2 Visa or US Passport/Green Card Master 200GT/OOW 500GT Any age suitable – current Mate is 41 Shared cabin, crew made up of Americans, British, South African, Bahamian Crew of 8 including Captain (Captain, Mate, Bosun, Deckhand, Engineer, Chef, Chief Stewardess, 2nd Stewardess) Large tender driving is essential – candidates that do not have this, will not be considered Experience of the Bahamas, Caribbean, ICW advantageous Good knowledge of; Diving – free diving, tank diving, snorkeling – we have a Dive Instructor onboard. Safety with diving and tender safety boat. How to set up dive gear, break it down and maintain it. Fishing – high speed trolling, deep dropping, spear/pole – understanding, not necessarily a professional, but someone who can set up the outriggers and rig the lines/bait etc. How to set up fishing gear, break it down and maintain it. Lobsters, conch, grouper, red snapper, yellow snapper, wahoo, mahi-mahi, tuna plus lots of ither fish! Tenders – 42ft Invincible with outriggers and tuna tower, 34ft Freeman with outriggers and tower, 24ft Grady White Jets ski, seabobs, AWAKE E-surfboard Lots of water sports, beach set ups and activities in the water and onboard – guest enjoy being active and are a young family. Lots of time in tenders moving between anchorages and taking the guest out for the day. Once proficient and a level of trust has been built, potential for drive time on the main yacht. Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
