Deck/Mate 92’ MY Charter/Private MY- Australia & Thailand

Position Snapshot

• Watchkeeping experience (essential) , fishing skills (a bonus)

A high profile 92’ charter/private MY is on the search for a deck/mate to join their program between Australia & Thailand

The vessel will depart Australia in October (under its own power) for Thailand , where it will undertake a series of private owners trips around Phuket & Ko Samui

The vessel will head back to Australia in March 2025 for some offshore game fishing trips around Cape York & Australia’s top end.

After which the vessel will be based out of the Whitsundays for charters

Run with 4 crew on charter trips , the deck/mate must be able to step up and relieve captain on occasion, if he is accompanying owner with day fishing trips

The Ideal Candidates

• Bridge watch experience
• (master 5 preferred)  or yachtmaster
• Looking for offshore sea time
• Excellent tender driving experience
• Fishing skills a bonus
• Prefer candidates in Australia/NZ region
• Valid passport
• Will offer a firm commitment

Start: 2-3 weeks
