We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Maintenance Manager for a private villa in Ramatuelle, St Tropez.

As Chief Maintenance Manager, they will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of all equipment, systems, and facilities on our property. This includes identifying and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing repairs, and coordinating with outside contractors as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as experience in managing multiple maintenance projects. They will also be resilient, a problem solver and have a high degree of initiative.

Job duties

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, performing repairs or coordinating with outside contractors as needed
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities
• Manage maintenance projects, including coordinating with contractors, scheduling repairs, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Candidates must be/have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within a similar environment
• Must have EU Passport / right to work in France
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider Household team

Location
Ramatuelle, St. Tropez.

Hours
Full time. The role is Monday to Friday, 9.00am-6.00pm. Weekends on call in case of emergencies.

Salary
Up to 6,000 EUR net per month, depending on experience
