A reputable 38m Charter Yacht is on the search for a Chief Engineer to join their team
Work hard and reap the benefits, the yacht will be doing a repeat French Polynesia charter season where the crew banked big $$ tips last year (even split)
The Chief Engineer should have some previous superyacht experience and understand the hospitality side of working on a busy charter yacht (despite being in the engine room)
The yacht is couple friendly and will consider an engineer partnered with an experienced chief stewardess
Joining in NZ, the Chief engineer will assist with getting the vessel stocked with engineering spares, undertaking pre departure checks, prior to busy charter season ahead, with the aim to be underway to Tahiti Late May
Several charters confirmed & growing with what looks like will be a bumper season
Must be willing to commit to 12 months onboard
Experienced captain / engineer for support who knows the vessel well
Open to all nationalities, worldwide

The Ideal Candidate:
• Superyacht Experience
• Hands on with engineering
• Time on small yachts favourable
• III/3 or Y3
• Seafarer Medical & STCW
• Good preventative maintenance skills
• Good forward thinking with ships spares
• High level of professionalism
• Will offer a firm commitment

Start: 19th February in NZ
Salary: From 7500€ / month DOE + even split of tips (no rotation) 78 days leave / year
