West Nautical are recruiting a Rotational 2nd Engineer for a 55m MY, Charter/Private. (New Build)

Looking for someone who is self-motivated and conscientious and has a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance plus some AV/IT knowledge.

Previous experience in the industry is essential.

Male due to cabin arrangements.

Start Date: November/December to join the boat in Northern Europe where the yacht is in the final stages of the build.

Dual Season: Med /Caribbean

Total Crew: 13

Salary: 6000€ and after probation 6500€/ MLC Contract

Rotation: 2:2

Start Date: November

Qualifications: Y3 or EOOW, STCW updated, valid Eng 1.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
