Rotational 2nd/Sous Chef 80m Private/charter  M/Y

Possible quarantine period before joining the yacht
*Fully COVID vaccinated (Clients' request)*

Start:              by early January 2022

Package:       Salary in Euros. 176 days leave per year

Location:       Mediterranean

Experience/attributes required:

Culinary trained

Ideally at least 12-18 months' previous experience either as Sole or Sous/Crew chef on 50m+ yachts in addition to several years’ experience in high-end chalets, restaurants or hotels

You will be working closely with the Head Chef and will be cooking for approx. 28 crew and involved in guest food

You should have experience with menu planning, provisioning and be able to propose a varied and healthy cuisine

Positive outlook and flexible

Team player and happy to take instructions from management

Qualifications required:

Ship's Cook Certificate (preferable)

STCW (fully updated) with PSA

Proficiency in Designated Security Duties

Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months

Seafarer's Discharge Book (preferable)

Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements

Non-smokers/no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
