English speaking Head Waitress / Chef de Rang, Private Luxury Villa, South of France
Description About the prestigious Villa
Villa, located between Cannes and Antibes.
We are looking for 1 Head Waitress / Chef de Rang for a position to be filled in as soon as possible.
There is a strong possibility for this position to become a permanent position, if everything goes on well during your winter season and of course, if both sides are happy and satisfied.
You will be working under the supervision of the Maître d'Hotel and Property Director.
The hours vary with a wide range of hours to be observed during the summer period. Basically, you will be on rotation, there are 2 or 3 different shifts during the day. The winter season is much quieter.
Work weekends and holidays, especially during the summer season. Flexibility in this sense is therefore requested.
The summer period is busier than the winter period.
You recover all of your overtime in time off, mainly during the winter period.
Excellent presentation, you ensure the well-being of the owners and guests: reception, installation and setting up, presentation of dishes, wines and drinks. Ensure the cleanliness and good condition of silverware and crockery.
Your sense of welcome and personalised service sets you apart from other candidates.
You make a great importance to respect with hygiene and safety procedures and rules.
You be working in a team of 4-5 waiters/waitresses, especially during the summer period, smaller team during the winter period. You will be in direct contact with the owner.
Ability to do service, serve food and drinks.
Great availability and reactivity, discretion and confidentiality.
Calm and efficient under operational pressure.
You must speak English fluently
You speak English fluently or you have a very good level, if you are not bilingual, you express yourself clearly.
Speaking French could be a plus.
You have 1 or 2 years of successful experience in a waitress's position in a gourmet restaurant, in yachting or in a private villa.
Service experience in restaurants, hotels or in private villa or Yacht is required.
Service training is welcome.
You must have your own car to go to your workplace and to access the Villa.
Renewable temporary contract (CDD) with an evolution into a prominent contract (CDI)- Variable hours / Flexibility required.
Salary: 2500 euros net per month
Live out position. Possibility to accommodate you if needed.
Other advantages: mutual insurance and meals fully covered by the employer. Meals are cooked by the Chef.
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.
Good knowledge of the following languages is required: English, French
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
