Temporary Pilot opportunity in the Middle East to work as part of a growing fleet of smaller boats/tenders

*Due to travel restrictions, candidates currently in Europe/UK are given first consideration*

Please note COVID testing will be undertaken and a quarantine period before joining the fleet

Start: November 3rd till beginning/mid January

Location: Middle East till end of the season

Package: Salary in Euros inclusive of leave. Accommodation, meals etc provided.

Daily tasks and skills will include:

You will be based ashore and you will be part of a large fleet of smaller boats & tenders. You will be directly involved with various facilities and their operation.
You will be a driver of the fleet and also be providing assistance with marina and waterside operations where required with the ground handling of the team.

Experience and attributes required:

Previous experience as Deckhand or Bosun on 30m+ Yacht
You must have proven tender driving experience
Water sport or sailing experience
You are a team player and have some team management experience
You have a flexible approach to working hours
You are physically fit and are willing to work in a demanding climate

Qualifications required:

Yacht Master Offshore 
Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months' validity)
Seaman’s Discharge Book
Yellow fever (preferred)
Covid vaccination (client request)

Non smoker/no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
