Personal Chef (rotation)- Private Yacht & Residence- Sydney Based

A rare opportunity has become available for a chef looking to call Sydney home in this semi land-based position.
The superyacht will be used intermittently as the owners reside overseas and dates are known well in advanced
When principles are abroad the chef will assist with crew food and dropping off evening dinners for the owners elderly parent in Sydney’s East
When the yacht is in full swing the chef will have the ability to rotate off to ensure all crew receive adequate breaks and frequent weekends off.
The position is completely Sydney based therefore the chef should have their own accommodation ashore or be open to finding if relocating
The chef should have a diverse culinary repertoire and some familiarity with Kosher cooking is advantageous
The yacht will consider both female and male chefs although female would work best with cabin arrangements, otherwise must be open to sharing with the opposite sex.

The Ideal Candidate

• Culinary trained
• Private residence, yacht or hatted restaurant experience
• Very personable
• Knowledge of Sydney suppliers
• Can provision accurately
• Doesn’t neglect crew food requirements
• Enjoys a role with great flexibility
• COVID Vaccinated (elderly owner)
• Own accommodation in Sydney (or can sort)
• Work rights for Australia
