Land Based Fleet Administrator for a busy Private Maritime Operation
*Due to travel restrictions, candidates currently in Europe/UK are given first consideration*
Please note COVID testing will be undertaken and possibly a quarantine period before joining the operation
Start: mid-end March in Europe
Package: Salary in Euros; 114 days leave per year which corresponds to 4 months holidays a year
Location: This position is based in the Middle East in the summer with winters in Europe
Desired attributes include:
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as Admin/junior purser on yachts/cruise/passenger ship or a very strong secretarial/admin background in PA type roles
Knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of administration, organization and accounting
Strong communication, computer and inventory skills
Responsible for all crew administration, flights arrangements, visas and certifications
Excellent time management
Report writing experience
Liaise with various operational departments
Source and negotiate supplies/suppliers
Fluent English both written and verbal
STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months+ validity)
Seaman’s discharge book
Yellow Fever vaccination

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
