Deckhand & Bosun 54m Private/Charter MY– Australia, PNG

Are you an experienced Deckhand or Bosun currently located in Australia?
A high profile 54m Private/Charter MY is on the search for ‘water orientated’ deck crew to join their program for an immediate start
The Yacht will look to undergo a yard period for roughly 6-7 weeks before looking to travel north to Cairns.
Long term itinerary includes Indonesia, PNG , Kimberley , Australia & South Pacific (COVID Borders permitting)
The yacht will maintain Australia as its home base for the foreseeable future

The yacht would like to trial the deckhand and bosun (with daywork) to begin with, before offering a more permanent contract if everyone is happy

Candidates located in the Gold Coast / Brisbane region will be well received

For ALL Crew Member

• Valid passport – Australian Work Visa if not AUS
• ENG1 (Maritime Medical certificate)
• STCW including the module Proficiency in Security Awareness
• PDSD, Proficiency in Designated Security Duties – Can be done online after joining
• Seaman’s Record Book - Recommended

For Bosun

• RYA Yacht master (minimum)
• Yacht Rating
• RYA Personal Craft Instructor (preferred)
• Powerboat Level 2
• Use to drive chase boat
• Knowledge of diving and fishing area – A Plus

For Deckhand

• RYA Yacht master (if possible)
• Yacht Rating
• RYA Personal Craft Instructor if not hold by Bosun
• Powerboat Level 2

Salary- DOE, Paid in $US + Entitlements
