Sous Chef 55m charter MY
SOUS CHEF 55m PRIVATE/CHARTER
We are seeking a Sous Chef for a 55m busy charter yacht based in the Med. Male or female candidates will be considered.
Candidates must be located in UK/Europe and be available to join next week by 27th May. Candidates will hold 5 years experience as a Chef and ideally be culinary trained.
Yacht experience is not necessary but one season would be desirable. Strong pastry skills is a must.
You will be cooking for the 15 crew along with assisting the long standing Head Chef with Guest meals. You will be responsible for the pastry section daily including; baking bread, muffins, cakes, cookies, desserts. Gluten-free options will also be required at times.
Winters in Europe. STCW, ENG1, and Schengen visa all must be valid.
Salary 4000-4500 Euros + charter tips 38 days holiday
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
