Land-based Tender Engineer opportunity operating within the Middle East



**Please note this a land-based position for a busy Maritime operation**



Please note COVID testing will have to be undertaken before departure and 14 day quarantine period in hotel before joining the Operation 



Start:         Mid - end August 



Location:   Middle East



Package:   Salary in Euros per month with 114 days annual paid leave (very flexible rotation) with accommodation, meals etc provided. This position could also be a seasonal position with leave pro rata



Experience and attributes required:



Extensive Marine engineering experience in order to provide technical and mechanical trouble shooting and repairs to various types of marine engines



Knowledge of gearboxes



Knowledge of Marine electrics.



General boat maintenance and repairs.



Ideally some boat yard experience, especially on the repair side of tenders or boats from the shore side leisure industry.

 

Physically fit and willing to work in a demanding climate



 

Qualifications required:



Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months' validity)

Seafarer's Discharge Book

STCW with PSA

PBL2 preferred

Vaccination booklet including Yellow fever vaccination



Male only due to accommodation arrangements

Non smoker/no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
