Rotational 2nd Engineer for a 100m+ Private Motor Yacht 

Start Date: April 2020

Location:   International

Package:  Salary paid in euros per month. 176 days leave = 2/2 rotation + economy return flights

Experience and Attributes Required: 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as 2nd Engineer on board 80m+ yacht/passenger/cruise
  • Able to work under management of Senior Engineers and report accurately
  • Experienced with all ship's machineries in Engine Room and Hotel
  • Team player, excellent interact in with other colleagues and department
  • Able to carry out watchkeeping duties in port and at sea
  • Act as a mentor for juniors and ensure highest standards are instilled
  • Proactive to problems and finding solutions under pressure
  • Shipyard experience
  • Excellent organizational and inventory skills

Qualifications Required

  • CoC III/1 EOOW unlimited
  • High Voltage Certificate (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Certificate
  • Crowd & Crisis management certificate
  • Competence in Survival Craft & Rescue Boat other than fast rescue boat (preferred)
  • Advanced Fire Fighting
  • Fully updated STCW
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months’ validity)
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book
  • Vaccination card with Yellow Fever

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
