A high profile private 46m MY is on the search for an experienced deckhand to join their team of 9
The yacht is currently travelling the east coast of Australia and therefore the ideal candidate should already be in Australia for joining (due to current border restrictions)
The yacht is used for private trips only and has a strong fishing and diving focus.
Confidence in these areas is paramount, as it the ability to drive tenders in most weather conditions.
The deckhand should be very hands on and have a sound knowledge of yacht maintenance and repairs.
Candidates with a trade background will be well received
The yacht has an amazing itinerary over the next 12 months, including Australia, Indo & PNG

The Ideal Candidate

• STCW, Seafarer Medical
• Power Boat level 2 or coxswains minimum (yachtmaster /master 5 preferred)
• PADI dive tickets
• Fishing experience, rig lines, set up gear.
• Confident tender driver
• Reside already in Australia (for joining)
• Good knowledge of yacht care/maintenance

Start- April 2020

Salary- Depending on experience, above industry standard for right candidate
