Seasonal Land-based Maritime Co-ordinator
PLEASE NOTE THIS A LAND BASED POSITION – YOU WILL NOT BE WORKING ON A YACHT BUT DIRECTLY WITH SEVERAL YACHTS AND THEIR OPERATION
Start: By March 28th until October 31st
Location: Middle East
Package: Salary in Euros per month. Onshore accommodation provided.
You will be based ashore, working within a large fleet of yachts and will be directly responsible of running a shore-side maritime operation of 6-8 tenders ranging between from 10 to 20m.
This is not a paperwork job but a very hands-on role. You will be responsible for your own fleet making sure boats are ready, being serviced and you will report to the Fleet Captain.
Experience and attributes required:
- Previous large yacht experience as an Officer is required
- You must be organised and able to manage a large fleet of tenders
- Manage & co-ordinate all mooring operations
- Good communicator with the ability to be a multi-tasker
- You must be independent and be happy to work in a remote place
- Chief Mate Unlimited (preferred), Chief Mate 3000
- Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months' validity)
- Seafarer's Discharge Book
- STCW up to date
- Yellow fever vaccination

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
