Seasonal opportunity for a Captain on board a large private vessel

Start Date: by end of May - 6 months contract to start with

Location:  Middle East

Package: daily rate

This is a vessel that will be based locally and does not travel during the season. The vessel will be very busy with guests on and off during the summer season.

Experience and Attributes Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Captain on board 60m+ yachts
  • Solid leadership & management skills
  • Good communicator
  • Strong guest relation experience
  • Ability to remain calm and give directions clearly
  • Organised and methodical
  • Charter experience preferable due to the nature of this yacht's usage

Qualifications Required:

  • Master 3000
  • STCW (all up-dated)
  • Seafarers’ Medical (Min 6 months validity)
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book (mandatory) 
  • Vaccination card with Yellow Fever and Hep B (preferable)

Non Smoker only and with no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
