Looking to sail the Caribbean islands for the tail end of winter?

Join this very professional, state of the art sloop and its fun-loving crew as it sails the US, Caribbean and beyond.

The 1st officer will be extremely hands- on, leading two experienced deckhands by example in all deck and bridge operations.

The 1st officer will have a natural flare for the Ocean, will be well presented and enjoy a relaxed interaction with the guests and owners.

Common sense and a professional attitude is an absolute must to succeed in this position.

 The upcoming summer itinerary is yet to be confirmed but the yacht has spent summers in the Alaska & Canada regions in the past

The yacht is couples friendly (when other positions arise, but not at present) The Ideal Candidate

• Yacht Master Ocean minimum, OOW / Chief Mate preferred
• STCW, ENG 1
• GMDSS (preferable)
• 2 years’ experience minimum as mate on vessels 40m +
• Fun and positive attitude
• Looking for longevity

Start Date- Flexible

Salary- $6500- $7500 US, 42 days holiday + yearly return flight + Medical Insurance
