DmB Yachting group is currently recruiting a professional & experienced chief officer to join the team on a private 40m+ yacht. The emphasis is on high performance, safety, security and teamwork. The Captain is looking for a competent and motivated chief officer to join the vessel and learn all aspects of running the vessel with the aim of taking command in October 2019.

The role

The successful candidate will be working closely with an experienced Captain.
The primary role is for a hands-on chief mate who is willing to get stuck in on deck as well as being competent in all aspects of navigation, ISM, ISPS, boat handling, crew training, drills and running the deck.

This role will require a very keen and motivated individual who is looking to step up and take command of the yacht in late 2019 upon the current Captains departure.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have;

• Minimum of 3-4 years experience
• Chief mate on similar size yachts
• Or Captain on smaller size yachts
• Minimum Master 500 preference to Master 3000
• Competent at managing and assisting guests in water sports activities
• Good administrative skills
• Proven longevity
• Excellent references
• Fluent English language
• B1B2
