3rd Chef opportunity on board 100 m+ Private M/Y
Start Date: 1 x ASAP and 1 x December 2018
Location: TBA
Package: Salary paid in Euros/ month, 122 days leave per year (4:2), 4 return flights to Homeport per year
Experience and Attributes Required:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience on board 80m+ Yachts, Cruise or River Ships in similar role
- Assisting with food preparation, maintenance of cleanliness and high standards of hygiene in the galley, mess rooms, pantries and storerooms
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Ability work under pressure and remain calm and courteous at all times
- Fluent English both written and verbal
Qualifications Required:
- Certified Culinary Trained Chef Degree/Ship’s Cook Certificate (mandatory)
- STCW (all up-dated)
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Certificate (mandatory)
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months' validity)
- Seaman’s Discharge Book (mandatory)
- Crisis and Crowd Management (mandatory)
- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 (mandatory)
- Vaccination card with Yellow Fever and Hep B Vaccines (mandatory)
Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements
Non Smokers only and with no visible tattoos
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
