Luxury Mediterranean based Mangusta Motor Yacht seeking a Chief Engineer for April 2013.

The vessel is over 3000kw but has an endorsement for a Y2 Chief Engineer. Class 1 or Y1 preferred. Permanent base in the South of France so ideal for someone based locally. Quiet winter itinerary.

Salary: €6500-€7500/month

Leave: 8 weeks per year (4 weeks suspended until have been employed over 9 months)

Location: South of France/Mediterranean

Start: First week of April if possible for a handover period with outgoing engineer.

Requirements

  • Y2/Y1 or Class 1 Chief Engineer license.
  • STCW and Eng1 Medical or equivalent
  • MTU experience is very useful
  • Yacht experience will be given priority

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
