FREELANCE HOUSEKEEPER POSITION - EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED

About the Villa

The apartment is located in Monaco. It is privately owned.

This is a very nice and respectful family. The clients are Turkish.

We are looking only for self-employed candidates with an Auto-Entrepreneur status. Candidates must be able to commute to Monaco by public transport (there is no staff parking).

The project

We are seeking one Housekeeper to work from December 10th until January 07th, 2026 (inclusive).

There is a Villa Manager working there on a permanent basis, as well as a Chauffeur/Driver.

You will be in charge of general housekeeping and laundry duties. From time to time, when the owners or their family are present, you will assist with family-style service under the direction of the Villa Manager. Flexibility is key, and management will adjust total working hours fairly over the period.

Housekeeping duties

• Vacuuming and cleaning floors, carpets, and surfaces.
• Making beds, changing linens, and preparing bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops.
• Replenishing toiletries, towels and supplies.
• Ensuring corridors and living areas are dusted, tidy, and organised according to the owners' preferences.
• Liaising with dry cleaners for garments requiring specialist treatment and arranging collections when needed.

Laundry duties

• Manage all laundry tasks for clothing and household linen, including washing, stain removal, drying and ironing.
• Ensure linens and clothes are in perfect condition before folding or hanging.
• Clean and organise wardrobes and dressings and return items to their proper places.
• Clean handbags and shoes before storing as required.
• Change bedsheets according to owners' instructions and maintain immaculate bed presentation.
• Minimise use of dry-cleaning solvents where possible, particularly for newborn-related items; strong laundry knowledge is highly valued.

Service (when needed)

• Assist with meal services (breakfast, lunch, dinner) when requested.
• Set and clear dining tables, handle ceramics and cutlery before and after meals.
• Discreetly serve food and drinks as requested by the owners, working behind the scenes.

Desired profile

• Very autonomous while able to report and respect hierarchy.
• Passionate about service with previous experience as a housekeeper or head housekeeper is mandatory.
• Comfortable with housekeeping, service and laundry duties; flexible and able to follow existing procedures.
• Hands-on team worker when assistance is required; discreet, smiling, punctual and with strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English is required; French is a strong advantage.
• No criminal record; honest and trustworthy.

Salary: €180 per day (approximately €20 per hour from 09:00–18:00; may vary depending on needs).

Contract: Self-employed candidates only (Auto-Entrepreneur status).

Candidates must hold an EU passport or a valid visa and work permit allowing employment in France/Europe.
