Job Opportunity: ETO – 120m+ Private Superyacht
We are seeking a highly motivated Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join the crew of a prestigious 120m+ private yacht.

Start Date: 10th February
Rotation: 10 weeks on/off

Role Overview
The ETO will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical, electronic, and AV/IT systems onboard. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and capable of managing both planned maintenance and urgent technical issues in a calm and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance and repair of all onboard electrical and electronic systems
• Management of power generation, switchboards, UPS systems, and distribution
• Operation and upkeep of navigation and communication systems
• Oversight of AV/IT network infrastructure and guest entertainment systems
• Monitoring of PLC, alarm, and monitoring systems
• Ensuring all electrical work complies with Class, Flag, and SMS requirements
• Maintaining documentation, inventories, and technical logs
• Supporting the engineering team during dry docks, yard periods, and large refits

Requirements
• STCW III/6 ETO CoC
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as ETO on 80m+ yachts, cruise ships, or offshore vessels
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage and DC distribution, generators, and automation systems
• Solid AV/IT and network troubleshooting skills (Cisco / VLAN / satellite systems advantageous)
• Experience with PMS and vessel monitoring systems
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Professional, discreet, and safety-focused
• Valid ENG1, STCW, and all required certification

Desirable
• Experience in major refits or large-scale electrical upgrades
• Programming or PLC diagnostic capability
• Knowledge of HVAC controls, CCTV
