Sous Chef — 60m busy charter motor yacht.

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join an established high-profile charter yacht next month. The role will most likely be temporary until mid-February but for the right candidate could become permanent.

Summary:

  • Work with an experienced, crew-focused Captain and a strong galley team on a top 60–70m charter vessel delivering creative guest dining experiences.
  • Owners are food-driven and supportive.
  • Applicants must have culinary training or restaurant experience plus 1+ year onboard, preferably in busy charter programs.
  • Must hold B1/B2 visa in hand; Ships Cook certificate preferred.

Package:

  • USD 5,000–6,000 per month DOE

  • 4:1 rotation for the permanent role; leave dates flexible depending on schedule

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
