We are currently seeking an organised and experienced Chief Stew to join a busy, dual-season 55m private motor yacht. The yacht is under American ownership, currently located in Europe, and will depart soon for a busy Caribbean season.

Details:

  • This role has an ASAP start date; you must be readily available to join by mid November.
  • Currently in Europe; upcoming Caribbean winter.
  • Long-standing Captain and senior crew, including an established 2nd Stew who will provide support.
  • Vessel is maintained to a high standard.
  • 13 crew, interior team of 4.

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven longevity in the yachting industry with at least 2 years experience as a Chief Stew on 45m+ yachts.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with children and a warm, approachable demeanour is desirable, as the vessel is family-orientated.

Package:

  • Leave: Rotational.
  • Salary: DOE, paid in USD.
  • Start Date: mid-November.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
