We are seeking a motivated and experienced 2nd Engineer to join a 55m private motor yacht. The vessel is dual-season, with plans to operate in the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established programme with strong crew longevity and high maintenance standards.

Itinerary & vessel details:

  • Med summer / Caribbean winter
  • Long-standing Captain and senior crew (5+ years)
  • 13 crew total
  • Busy, professionally run programme
  • Maintained to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Y3 CoC or equivalent (required)
  • 2 years' experience on 40m+ vessels
  • At least 1 year's longevity on a 40m+ yacht
  • B1/B2 visa (required)
  • Schengen visa (if applicable)
  • Strong engineering background with proven hands-on technical skills
  • Good team player with a positive attitude
  • Committed individual seeking to settle on a vessel
  • Excellent previous references

Package:

  • Rotation: 2:2
  • Salary: DOE (paid in USD)
  • Start Date: Ideally asap, within the next two weeks.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
