House Manager – Paris

Silver Swan is currently recruiting for a professional, experienced House Manager for a beautiful property in Paris. This is a part time residence for our clients, but the property is expected to be ready for use at all times. The successful House Manager will be working with a small team, managing a Senior Housekeeper and Housekeeper.

The house is a large historical building, with a courtyard, 8 principal bedrooms, 5 guest bedrooms, and staff accommodation.

The successful House Manager will have experience working for formal UHNW clients, adhering to high standards of presentation. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily household operations
• Liaising with the property management company
• Preparing and sending regular reports to the principal’s UK family office
• Household admin – reports, bills, invoices, and expenses
• Dealing with client and guests requests when in residence
• Ensuring the smooth running of the property on a daily basis
• Stock and inventory management
• Reviewing household contracts if needed
• Ensuring the house prepared for client’s arrival (this can often be short notice)
• Scheduling any repairs or reporting issues to the property management company
• Household appliances and equipment needs to be working at all times (AC, TVs etc)

Ideal candidate:

• MUST have the right to live and work in France
• Fluent French and English is essential
• Previous experience within UHNW households is essential
• Polished, professional approach at all times
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience working within formal households

Package:

• Working week: 5 days / week – some flexibility to work extra hours when family and guests are in residence
• Start date: ASAP
• Accommodation: Provided 
• Salary: €6,000 net per Month
